Touch Zone Day Report

On Thursday 5th of November the mixed, boys and girls touch teams traveled down to Cox’s Bay reserve to participate in the annual central zone touch tournament.

Zone League Tag Team Report

On Tuesday both the boys and girls tag teams went out to Cornwall Park. The boys won 2 games, drew 2 and lost 1. This means we made it to the semi finals and we drew that game. Unfortunately we lost by points differential. In the end the boys team came 4th. The boys team are invited to play Interzone.

The girls played well winning 3 games, losing 1 and drawing 1 game. We also made it to the semi finals. Unfortunately we lost the semi finals and ended up placing 3rd. The girls team has also been invited to play in the Interzone on Tuesday.

Grand Final Intermediate Schools Battle of Bands

Ponsonby Intermediate's rock band, The Bivouac Experience celebrated success at last nights Grand Final for the Intermediate Schools Battle of Bands competition. The Bivouac Experience performed two original written songs in front of the 600+ crowd at the Bruce Mason Centre. 

Gala and Jackson were both awarded the "Best Vocalist" award for the evening! Congratulations to the band for a great performance.

Staff vs Room 1 Basketball

Today the staff played against the Year 8 Interclass Basketball champions for 2009, Room 1.  Room 1 played well but the staff team were too strong. The final score was 9-1.
